An insight into how our studio looks and works and how we want it to work for you.

The idea for Shutterbug came into being on the 14th of December 2006.

This was the day that a well known chain of photography studios closed down without any warning, leaving around a thousand people out of a job 10 days before Christmas(including a certain Steven Allan and Julie Chalk).

It was also the day of Steven`s 30th birthday and so it seemed fate was telling him something, when Julie (the other brilliant photographer in Shutterbug) announced the redundancy.

It seemed right to say that we'd do it ourselves!

A lot of hard work and determination later and we opened the studio at the beginning of March 07

We hope to create a warm and friendly atmosphere : Quirky not frantic.

An experience you will want to repeat.... and recommend!
